Bell rolling out LTE to Windsor, Whistler, Red Deer, and others on October 16th (Coverage will reach 20 million Canadians)

Bell’s LTE network continues to expand at a fast rate – this time going westward. On October 16th, residents of various locations in British Columbia and Alberta will be graced with LTE (Long Term Evolution) download speeds of an average of 25 Mbps – 35 Mbps. In addition, Bell will also be going live with LTE in Windsor, Ontario. Here’s the next round of LTE rollouts:

– Windsor, ON
– Brooks, AB
– Grande Prairie, AB
– Lloydminster, AB
– Red Deer, AB
– Taber, AB
– Duncan, BC
– Kamloops, BC
– Ladysmith/Nanaimo/Parksville, BC
– Pemberton, BC
– Squamish, BC
– Vernon/Salmon Arm, BC
– Whistler, BC

With this expansion, Bell’s LTE network reaches 20 million Canadians. It was just in the first week of September that they claimed to reach 17 million, then a couple weeks later progressed to 19 million. So they seem to be aggressively deploying their LTE plans at a good pace.
