TELUS promised that they’ll push the upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich to the LG Optimus LTE today (model number P935) and they delivered. This brings Android OS 4.0.4 to your LTE-enabled device. If you’re one of the 2 million around the world that have this device then press Menu >> Settings >> About phone >> System software updates >> Check now.
It should be there waiting for you.

If it doesn’t show up under OTA, you get get it by downloading the LG update software from their website. Do a search for LG p935. This only works on PC though, no MAC support.

Ge0ff is correct. Go to LG website. Click on support then choose the correct phone model from the top. Download and install the USB drivers and then download and install the software upgrade program. Switch the USB connection mode on your phone to software and plug in the USB port. Wait for all drivers to install and launch the uprade program. It will scan your phone and then download and install the update.
It is “NOT” available OTA.

Hey shutupdave you should be happy there are a few not so easily pleased LG users such as yourself. Else you would still be on Ginger. If you aren’t getting what you should be then push for it. One way is to embarrass them by telling them old Nexus S machines are still ahead. Light a fire under their butt else nothing will get done.

There is a huge bug with WIFI on ICS4 for the P935. If you have WPA2 has your security type have fun connecting to your WIFI.
This was updated using LG’s upgrade tool.

I’ve been trying to update all day. The update screen get’s stuck at 4% and tells me that there is a problem connecting to the phone. I have the correct usb driver installed and I have tried it on Windows 7 64bit as well as Windows XP 32bit. Anyone know of a fix?
