  2. I dunno. I find the Optimus 2x kind of exciting. I know it still runs Froyo, but it appears to be a beast.

    • It was a beast when first released but now that we have the Atrix, Sensation, SGS2, and that two dual-core 3D phones are coming to Rogers, it won’t be such a big thing.

    • Do you know if the SGS2 is coming to Rogers this fall?

  3. Yeah other bad phones that no one want. Rogers and Fido really suck lately. I think I’ll have to keep my iPhone 3GS waiting for iPhone 5 or Galaxy S2.

I’m with Fido only for my really cheap 38$ plan. And I think I won’t be able to have a rebate on the iPhone 5 with this plan (even with a contract) so I’ll probably have to change provider anyway.

    • When have they not sucked? This year it’s been all about bell’s amazing device line ups, last year was all about telus sticking it to the other 2 with amazing plans (That they later copied)

Next year will be telus again I bet. Rogers never innovates to draw customers.

    • I have a feeling it might be based off lg’s UI. I’d like to give launcher pro a try.

  10. Don’t see how these are bad phones like the other morons have said above. These are good phones for Fido. Good Job Fido.

  13. To be fair, some people want simple phones. Personally, I’d like to have a conflict-free choice available, but until that happens, I’ll take what I get…and hope for new customers and existing customers to be paying the same price. It is absolutely ridiculous how much more existing fido customers pay than new customers for upgrades!
