Rovio has announced that the latest edition of their popular game Angry Birds has broken all previous records. Angry Birds Rio has been downloaded 10 million times in the last 10 days. This number is across all platforms (Apple App Store, Google’s Android Market and Amazon’s Appstore for Android) and both paid and free versions. This new game is coinciding with the upcoming animated 3D movie called RIO that will be released on April 15th.

I signed up for amazon’s app store hoping to snag the limited time free Rio… after all the credit card registration it acknowledges me that the free app is only availible in USA.

Thankfully Android Market has it for free now! Stupid Amazon…
