Confirmed: WIND Mobile launching the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 tomorrow

In a few short hours WIND Mobile will be releasing their 2nd BlackBerry device, the Pearl 9100. This has been “coming soon” for over 3 months and although we don’t have confirmation of a price – rumoured to be $320 no contract – we do have an image with the Wind branding all over it. Quick specs of the Pearl 9100 has it coming with the new trackpad, SureType keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera, BlackBerry Messenger, WiFi, and GPS.

  2. i dont think the torch is available in AWS at least yet, besides the torch is expansive with a contract, i sure as hell wouldnt purchase a torch outright

  4. I’m sure Wind will get the Torch, but I doubt it’ll be priced at anything anyone will enjoy so Wind’s probably not in a rush to get it.

  5. i doubt we’ll see an AWS Torch since AT&T (which has the same bandwidth as telus/bell/rogers) has exclusivity. Making a AWS torch just for Wind is unlikely.

  9. Wind already has several phones with full keyboards. They need to add a SMALL BASIC flip phone that will cost as little as possible. They will attract many customers.
