The Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant is making its way over to Bell soon. There’s also a rumour that Rogers will be launching a Galaxy S of some sorts. According to this invite for a TELUS and Samsung sponsored event it somewhat hints towards them releasing a version of the Android-based Galaxy S of their own. No official word on which one it is but we’re hearing it could be the Galaxy Apollo.
The invite is dated for mid-August and says that it’s for “an exciting new, out of this world smartphone!… Join us for food, drinks, gravity-defying entertainment, and a chance to win the best prizes in the galaxy!”

Too late, I’m getting whichever carrier provides it first (ie: Bell).
I’m already bummed by the HTC Desire not coming until Aug when it was released in Europe and Australia last March. It was already old by the time it got here.

I sent this in the other day, with tech details along with it. It is not a Galaxy S, the Apollo blows by Galaxy S standards. Just Googling Samsung Apollo brings the phone up on other carriers, same phone, as per the internal notice I read.

Since they used the words “Fascinating” and “Epic” in the title leads me to believe it would be the Galaxy s Fascinate or the Epic 4g.
Just my guess.

The Apollo would be nowhere near “Fascinating” or “Epic”. Especially if Bell and Rogers have the Galaxy S.

I really hope it will be a galaxy S comparable to the epic 4g, something that can actually handle the new hspa+ networks, I’ll probably hold off on buying the bell version till more details come out about the telus and rogers version of the galaxy S, whichever one looks best will be my new phone, i can wait a month for the specs to surface.
It really seems like this should be a Galaxy S though, i can’t see Telus making a big deal about a crappy mid range phone

I’m really hoping for a Telus Galaxy S release too but do you remember the enormous deal Telus made about “unleashing” Optik TV? I didn’t find that lived up to the hype. My prediction is Telus will release the Behold.

Good work on cellacademy.com having this info a s**t ton before anyone else. I check them out once in a while and they seem to have a leg up on some other sites, for some of these launches and rumors. Nice job to the little guy, whoever you are.

I am so hoping for a real galaxy S on Telus. They offer the cheapest rates and let you tether on the 500 MB plan for those few times I need it. Rogers and Bell make you pay for more if you want to tether and bury you in fine print. Telus is more forthcoming with their fine print (easier to find).

Telus gives you Voicemail 3 f or free. Rogers and Bell don’t. That’s $250 over three years (at seven dollars a month). I love Telus! I’ll just love them less if they actually are releasing the Apollo as cellacademy.com indicates.

In my dreams this is the Galaxy S Pro they’re talking about, but I know it’s not. Had about enough of these junk phones showing up in Canada, months behind no less, but I’ve gotten used to being disappointed by our wireless providers.

One thing I’d like to touch upon is that weight loss porargm fast may be accomplished by the right diet and exercise. Ones size not merely affects the look, but also the actual quality of life. Self-esteem, depression, health risks, along with physical ability are afflicted in excess weight. It is possible to do everything right but still gain. In such a circumstance, a problem may be the culprit. While an excessive amount of food rather than enough work out are usually to blame, common health conditions and widely used prescriptions could greatly increase size. Thx for your post right here.
