TELUS officially puts July 30th for iPhone 4 availability

There really was no doubt that they would follow up the recent Apple announcement of the iPhone 4 landing in Canada on July 30th… but it took a few days longer than Bell for TELUS to update their site confirming the date. Regardless, the iPhone 4 is hitting TELUS locations soon. Check it out here at TELUS

  1. …and neither Rogers nor Fido have even bothered to update their websites with updated info on the date, much less pricing or plans.

    Yeah, I sure can sense their “Excitement”. 10 days until it’s released here and customers are still left guessing.

  3. The oligopoly hasn’t yet come to a consensus on pricing and plans, that’s why the info hasn’t been released.

  4. Let me take a WILD guess on pricing: 199 and 299 on a 3-year contract, which is a complete rip off since the phone will be outdated in less than a year.

  7. @ Alex M – arent alot of phones outdated by less then a year? my htc hero was outdated in like a couple weeks from launch date in canada. same with alot of the other android phones because they have like a new phone rumor every 2 weeks.

  9. @ Frank – The Desire will be launching first week of August approx the 4th- 7th from what was told to me by an HTC rep. Also another note, the HERO will also be receiving it’s 2.1 update the same time too.
