Samsung Entro launched by Bell and Solo

Yet another messaging device is available. The Samsung Entro has been released by both Bell and it’s sub-brand Solo Mobile. The Entro has a slide out QWERTY keyboard, 2.6-inch touchscreen display (resolution of 240 x 320), 1.3 megapixel camera, flash and can take videos, holds up to 32 GB with a microSD card. If you’re thinking about getting this you might want to check out the prices below and make sure get on the right plan.

Bell price points are:
3-year contract: $29.95
2-year contract: $79.95
1-year contract: $99.95
No-contract: $149.95
Prepaid: 129.95

Solo price points are:
(If you buy online Solo will also give a $50 bill credit)
2-year: $50.00
No-contract/Prepaid: $130.00

  3. I just cannot believe you can get the Samsung Wave from the exact same company, Bell, selling this phone for the exact same price on a 3year term. Thats crazy.

    So I can either get a smartphone with all the tech a phone needs or a crappy messaging phone for the exact same price on a 3yr term?

  4. um i just got the phone i dont think it can take videos and it dont have flash and if it has these things how do you use get to them ?

    How is the phone so far, do you like it? I have been trying to google this phone, but doesn’t seem to have any info on it.

    Does it need a data plan?

    • I have dropped my Samsung Entro! It survived, dont worry! Although, my screen is very scratched if you are thinking of getting one (or if you already have one) i would suggest a screen protector.

  7. this phone is amazing i love it it is easy to text on the touch screen is good ( no iphone but its still good) and its fast.

    but my phone after only 2 days of use froze and would not move and if i took the battery out and put it back in it would go to the same exact screen again! i was so upset when this happened because i liked the phone so much. anyways when i get the replacement ill tell you all if that one breaks to :P

    • took the battery out without turning it off now it just flashes the start up loading screen crappy phone never had a problem with any other phones and useless technical support @ solo how do i fix this? last thing i’m going to try throwing it against a wall, softly at first then harder until it does something different. its useless now so one way or another i’ll be happy. either it will work again or i will take my anger out on the phone. did i mention this was my roommates phone and now i might have to get him a new one? BTW mostly directed to love it but… damn samsung m350 money better spent on beer

  10. i’m getting it. i broke my last one the samsung m320 it stopped charging randomly. the phone before that (LG rumour) got a presure crack and i had to get that one replaced.

  12. I bought a samsung entro SPH-m350 cell phone , it is a Presidents Choice phone. The manual is garbage, there is nothing in it to tell you how to use the micro chip in the camera, or if you can take photos off the computer and put them on the phone. NO INSTRUCTIONS PERIOD. Ive checked online, and have found nothing. Id like to know how to use the micro chip for the camera and other functions that are available. HELP HELP HELP !!!

  15. i got my samsung m350 about 4 months ago and it freezes like crazy and this time when i pulled the batt out to get it to come back in it takes 10 mins to load and when it does load it goes into a black screen and well not load anymore…this phone is s**t people do not buy one or get a contract its the worst thing u could ever do believe me.

  16. I got the Samsung Entro back in September. I loved it up until yesterday. Touch screen, slide keyboard, decent camera(by the way, for those who says there’s no zoom, there is), long lasting battery, and lots more. Yesterday while I was texting, it froze. So I took out the battery, put the battery back in (it takes 7-10 minutes to turn on usually), but after the Samsung load screen, the screen went a dark blue/black and it wouldn’t do anything. I took out the battery again, and same thing… Now it wont even turn on, the battery wasnt dead but I tried charging it anyway, and still nothing happened… Now I’m bringing in the phone to see what they can do with my warranty.

  17. This phone is a piece of S*** ! Freezes up all the time. I had this phone now for just over a year and its finally dead. it froze and now it stays on the loading screen for 10 mins then it goes into this black screen,it lights up but nothing on the screen. and it just keeps doin that back n forth, its been doing that now for 2 days straight. Phone sucks! Done ever buy it!
