TELUS Nokia E72 to be priced at $349.99 no-contract?

TELUS announced that the E72 will be launching soon (we’ve been informed it’ll be available July 11th). We attended an event last week and got a quick overview of the slim smartphone. Thanks to one of our tipsters who let us know that they’ve updated their site with the familiar “Coming Soon”. When he refreshed the page he noticed the pricing appeared. So you can expect to see the E72 launched at the 3-year contract price of $99.99 and the no-contract price of $349.99.

(Thanks Matthew!)

  4. Great phone, decently price.. but yet again, a Nokia takes forever to come to Canada.

  7. The E72 is a smartphone, so of course the 3yr contract price requires a data plan.

  9. Um… why would people think a Nokia phone will run Android? This phone is from February 2010, so it’s definitely still running the o’l Symbian S60. That also means there are already tons of apps for everyone’s rudimentary needs like Facebook.

  10. Doesn’t look like this is true…more likely a screw-up by Telus…it’s back to ‘Coming Soon’: http://i48.tinypic.com/148kowl.jpg

An internal contact of mine said there’s no way this phone will be that price, unless they’re planning on taking a huge hit on each one of these.
