TELUS releases the LG Banter for free on 3-year

We let you know last week that TELUS was setting up to add the LG Banter to their lineup and today it can be yours. You can score this at an incredible price of free on a 3-year contract.

The Banter has a 2.2 inch LCD display with a resolution of 240 x 320, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and video capabilities, speakerphone, can hold up to 16GB with a microSD card. Overall dimensions are 112 x 52 x 17.3mm, weighs of 126 grams and is a CDMA device. Telus also states that the Banter can help you “show your individuality or reflect your mood when you switch up with one of the 3 included faceplates.”

3-year contract: $0.00
2-year contract: $99.99
1-year contract: $149.99
No contract: $199.99

  1. Sad part is, People will sign 3year terms for this….
    i would not even sign a ONE year term for this phone even if it Was free and they gave $300 cash back! lol
    To each his own..
    carriers need to take note from fido and offer features phones at there current pricing on 2year terms max!! 3years should be reserved for High end smartphones only..
    ((i personally think 2years locked in for ANY Device is too Much, But for dumbphones at least its a step in tha right derection))
    i personally will never sign any term again ((Only took one term ever and was my worst regret))

  2. Contracts don’t lock anyone to any handset. They lock you into your carrier. You can buy a new handset anytime you want. You’ll just have to pay for it. Imagine that.

  3. I never usually have a problem getting out of contracts, most people take my used phone as payment for taking over my 3 year contract. Which frees me up for a new smartphone for cheap.
