Bell releases BlackBerry Curve 8530 for $49.95

Bell has released the BlackBerry Curve 8530 on the following price plans:
3-year contract: $49.95
2-year contract: $249.95
1-year contract: $349.95
No Contract: $399.95

As we stated earlier the 8530 operates on their CDMA network The Curve 8530 has the new trackpad, a 3.2-inch display with a resolution of 320 × 240, 256 MB of Internal Memory and can hold up to 32GB with a microSD card, has dedicated media keys, Wi-Fi enabled, BlackBerry Maps, Built-in GPS, Speakerphone, IM, Bluetooth, 2.0 megapixel camera with 5X digital zoom and video capabilities, runs on OS v5.0. The overall dimensions are 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm with a total weight of 105 grams.

This is available online now in Black or “Royal Purple”… or when Bell stores open on the 26th you can walk in a get yours then!

  1. RIM might even start getting it right, $399 is a pretty sweet price point for a device of that caliber (nothing amazing, but standards have been met).

  3. I dont get why the official blackberry website says this device has 3g capability, when bell does not have it listed as 3g

  5. Are you serious people? For $50 more I would get Blackberry Bold 9700 from the WIND Mobile. Much better device.

  7. this phone is the worst ever my husband and i have each had one for only 2 months and have had to have ity repaired over 6 times and bell service is even worst they will not replace the phone so far i have lost 3 days vacation because it broke again and a weeks work from running home to get on phone to rim and use my computer to fix it .it keeps losing all software and needs to be reloaded then you lose all numbers this is not funny anymore i have got nowhere with bell or blackberry rim number each puts the return policy on the other and today bells rep jason told me to bad go buy a new phone guess its time to call the papers and my lawyer to get help.
