Walmart introduces Mobile Beta site this holiday season

walmartmobileThis holiday season will see Canada’s largest retailer test out their Mobile site. Walmart has created a beta version of Walmart.ca that is available in English and French that gives you the ability to search for the closest location around you (by entering your postal code), check out promotions and view the online flyer.

You’ll see in the demo they have optimized it for the BlackBerry, Palm Pre and iPhone/iPod or any other mobile browser.

    1. The location finder is actually impressively more advanced. Using an iPhone with 3.0 firmware or later, a pop-up will appear asking if the website can use your location, and it automatically finds the closest store based on that. I used it the other day, very handy.
