Video: Upcoming Samsung Omnia 2, Galaxy & Impact

We got the opportunity for a quick demo of some of the upcoming devices that Samsung will be launching. As we let you know earlier, these are said to be available within the next 30-45 days.

All I can say is watch these video as Samsung will be releasing some stellar touchscreen devices. You’ll see the Omnia 2, this is the first device to run Windows 6.5 and has a 800Mhz processor and uses Samsung’s TouchWiz 2.0 UI. This comes with 16GB built in and can also load up to another 32 GB with a microSD card. The screen is amazing at 3.7 inches (480×800 resolution) and uses the AMOLED technology. The camera is a 5 megapixel camera with dual flash, can take DVD quality videos and has a front camera for video calling, plus WiFi, GPS.

For Samsung’s first Android device, aptly called the “Galaxy”. This was incredibly thin and sports everything Android. The screen size was large and also comes with the AMOLED technology that makes the screen resolution really crisp. It comes with a 3.5 headset jack, 3 megapixel camera with flash, can store up to 32GB of memory with a microSD card.

Last but not least is another thin and lightweight device. The Impact is a touchscreen messaging device that runs on Samsung platform. The overall design is curved in style and has a textured backing. In addition, this comes with a 3 megapixel camera with video capabilities, 16GB of storage with a microSD card.

  4. First, that “stick” on tha omnia2 is tha stupid stylus.. why they couldn’t make ã decent and thin one that slids into tha device I don’t know and is one thing I hate… Next, video calling cam on tha omnia2 – you really only see that used with GSM bell and telus have there GSM 3G HSPA network up Nation wide! you can find it out in tha rural areas even! (something rogers could accomplish in how long now?) I have No clue who will get these phones but even with these 3 device basically confirmed GSM we cant rule telus or bell out… why would they be showcasing them at a bell device party? im not thing rogers (and fido? don’t make me laugh – allthough that comment really did lol) think about it, that would like KFC anoucing there grilled chicken at MC Donalds ! !

    :D

  5. wow, I was dreading that it was the stylus, but on a screen that big you you really need it tho? Not really. The iPhone users seem to be doing fine without one. Personally I would rather go with the touch pro 2 with that huge keyboard. I realize that it is a bit bulky but hey, I have big pockets.
