It was only a short year that Koodo Mobile came on the Canadian scene. Remember the flashy and incredibly bright neon that was plastered around our great country. No? Then you must remember the throwback to the 20-minute workout.

Koodo started off with entry devices LG 380, Motorola w385 and the Samsung u410. Then they stepped up their game to offer better phones within 6 months such as the LG Shine and the LG Keybo. The financial reports all point to Koodo doing well in the market, nothing official as they are always bundled up with TELUS financials.

However, their message has always stayed true, simple plans with Talk and Text… The “Fat Free Mobility” slogan has seemed kinda to fade away, now  replaced by their own language such as blabberific”, “planticipation”, “bigbillification”, “koodoliminate”, “contracphobia” and the important “textalation”. Here are a few commercials:

Happy Birthday Koodo… bring on some new devices please.
(The next one you should expect is the Samsung m540 Slyde)
