LG’s upcoming 8-inch piece of hardware is is poised to be the company’s next foray into the tablet space. We’ve been informed that Rogers will be releasing G Pad III 8.0 at the end of May with the current target release date set for 27th. The price is affordable at $240 outright.
The LG G Pad III 8.0 features an 8-inch 1920 x 1200 pixel display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. According to an internal document we received, Rogers is targeting this tablet to “youth and young adults looking for the best value device that encompasses the latest productivity.” The tablet also features a “one-click Reader mode” that apparently filters blue light and reduces eye fatigue.
As for specs, the LTE-enabled LG G Pad III 8.0 has a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 16GB internal storage, 4800mAh battery, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.
