LG’s Hi-Fi music service launching this month for select premium smartphone owners

LG announced it will launch a new music offering this month that allows for 24bit music playback. The company will first make it available to owners of the G4, G3, G2 and G Flex 2, with additional devices coming later. The LG SmartWorld app will offer two free tracks per month and LG owners can purchase songs at “up to” 50% off the regular price.

LG says its music service will come to “70 countries including the United States, Australia, Brazil, China, France, Italy, Russia and the United Kingdom,” but no mention of Canada. We have reached out to LG Canada to see if Canadians will be included as a launch country.
