Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its newest flagship smartphones on April 10th. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will be widely available from Canadian carriers. The initial colours will be Charcoal Black and Shimmering White, with the Gold Platinum model tipped to be available shortly after launch. Samsung Canada stated last week that the Gold Platinum will be released “in the coming weeks… through major carriers.”
Those wanting to hold out for the gold will not have to wait much longer. In a note to us, Samsung said the Gold Platinum will be available for sale across the country on April 30th.
Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Fido, WIND Mobile, Eastlink, Koodo, SaskTel and Videotron will all have the Galaxy S6 for sale, with the base 32GB model starting at $249.
