Facebook recently reported that 19 million Canadians visit the social network on a monthly basis, with over 15 million of us accessing the site from a mobile device.

For those who use Facebook Messenger to keep in touch with friends, family or co-workers, you’ll see an update has arrived for your iOS and Android device that brings video messaging to the app. All you have to do it tap the camera button and either record a video or grab one from your gallery. For Android devices, video only works on devices running OS 4.3 or higher, but Facebook notes that they are going to “continue to improve video and bring it to more phones.”

In addition, for the millions of users who really want to show more love than a simple Like, Facebook created the “Big Like” feature. This allows you to “send an even bigger thumbs up when you really, really like something.”
