An entry-level Sony device has muscled its way onto the shelves of WIND Mobile. The Xperia L is now available and sports a 4.3-inch display (854×480), 1Ghz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, an 8MP camera that shoots 720p HD videos, 1700mAh battery, runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The design has similarities to the Xperia arc with its curved back, along with the new silver power button on the right side. As for the prices – you’ll be able to score the Xperia L from $29 on the WIND40 to $329 outright.

Wind will never learn………….. $329 is way too high for this phone.
Xperia SP is a much better phone at a much better price ($299).

probably designed it that way to get the $30 out of your pocket.
$30 shouldn’t make or break anyone.

I don’t think hes that concerned about the extra $30 but more so that the phone is vastly outspec’d by the Xperia SP. The Xperia L has a 480p screen, and its only a 1 GHz Dual core vs the SP’s 720p and 1.7 GHz Dual Core CPU

Exactly, I’m talking about the outright price, which is ridiculous when there are phones like Nexus 4 and Xperia SP LTE for $300.

I wish they carried the SP. That’s a nice phone! I want to get that for my wife. This phone is much worse. Even the camera on the SP is far better, judging by the shots I see online.

Battery is actually 1750 mAh, and its worth noting that it’s user replaceable.
Neat little smartphone, awesome pick if going with the WIND Tab, as its a steal on Tab 30/40

Compared to what’s currently offered for around 300 from Wind, I’d say this phone is pretty good in comparison to the others from their selection.

    has designated camera button!

Hope Sony knows they are running out of letters
