Rogers exclusivity on the BlackBerry Q10 in white is almost over. According to an internal doc we received it reveals that Bell is on tap to launch the Q10 in pristine white on July 5th. The price is the exact same at $699.95 outright.

I played with this phone last week while at a Telus store, picking up a sim card for my N4. I have to say, it feels very cheap and was very laggy. The OS appears very outdated. Why is this being sold for the same price as a GS4?

Ask Heinz ketchup? I doubt we’ll be seeing much more of them In due time, so no big deal.

Lol, must be one of those illustrious Samsung paid “reviewer” they are getting heat for.

    • Bbrysucks

Oh, like the half dozen doing the same for bbry here on mobilesuckups?

Hey man, I just bought one of these for my dad and enjoyed figuring it out all weekend.

The build quality is significantly higher than the previous 3 galaxy phones and I’d say that it even gives the build quality of the GS4 a run for it’s money. The solid metal band and cool composite material used on the black version are nice added touches but the device feels like it can fall to the pavement a number of times before it’s smaller screen cracks. Galaxy phones still can’t take a single drop on the pavement without breaking their plastic case or gorilla glass 2 screen, and that’s just the truth.

The OS is lightning fast with ZERO lag so unless the model you were playing with was a demonstration model locked in a demo mode, I don’t know what you could’ve done in store to get it to lag at all.

OS 10 is in it’s FIRST release and really seems to include all the basic stuff Samsung brings to the table, not sure what you expected but I hardly believe you had the time to experience to full extent of the OS’s capabilities in the 3 minutes it took to get your sim card.

Also, tethered to security alarms is no way to experience a phone either.

So all this being said, he could’ve picked any phone, but ended up with the blackberry because it’s so much like the phone he is upgrading from…and that, my friend, is the market the Q10 is catering too.

Ok fanboi, err should I say manic devlin?

    • bigshynepo

Nope, just very educated. I have a Galaxy S3, a blackberry 9760, A Q10 brand new in a box beside me, a Lumia 920, a Xperia X10 running cynogen, a HP touchpad running Cynogen 4.2, I used to manage a Bestbuy Mobile and I have 2 best friends that are reps for 2 different carriers. I’m brand agnostic.

      Or some dbag Bbrysucks m0r0n

    • Lalalabrinks

Is this not the perfect definition if a shill or what? Hahaha.

    • VapidRapidRabbit

Are you not the perfect definition of a pathetic troll or what? Hahaha

    • bigshynepo

I think the Q10’s camera sucks, it’s battery life pales in comparison to previous gen blackberries and I agree the OS has some quirks. BBM is a shadow of it’s former self despite trying to go a few new avenues and the HUB seems to help only the most organized people out there cause it seems like chaos to me. I think the hardware is great tho and QNX is a beast. They just need to fine tune whats going on and sign up some more big name app developers. and fix the space bar.

Shill enough for you? Good, now GTFO. It’s still a nice phone.

I knew that you were lying as soon as I saw the world “lag” used in the description of this device.

    • VapidRapidRabbit

You must have been confused because the only thing in the store that was cheap and laggy was that cheap plastic crapdroid in your hand…. AMIRIGHT?
