Edmontonions will have a reason to celebrate this tomorrow. If you’re into protecting your beloved devices from ‘liquid damage’ then the West Edmonton Mall is where you need to put yourself on May 30th. This is when the grand opening of Liquipel will occur. This will be the companies first foray on Canadian soil and apparently more stores are planned. Liquipel uses a special self-sealing nanocoating that protects the inside and outside of your device (phones and tablets) and costs about $60 per phone and $80 per tablet. From our hands-on at CES this year, Liquipel 2.0 can withstand up to 3.3 feet underwater for 30 minutes.
