Bell has added another Windows Phone 8 device to their lineup today. The Windows Phone 8S by HTC can be yours for the ripe price of $279.95 outright or $0 on a 3-year. This has a similar design to previous Android-powered devices such as the Hero, One V or Legend, but comes with WP8 PS, brighter colour and slimmer. the 8S has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch Super LCD display (800×480), 5MP camera that shoots 720p videos and Beats Audio.

Check out our review of the 8S here.

windows 8 is probably better than on a phone than on a pc… it was wrong of them to get rid of the start button period…

This would be the perfect phone if it didn’t require data.

Instead they’ve decided they don’t want to sell this phone like hotcakes.

    • StanLee

Purchade this phone for about $250 and go elsewhere. Bell is a waste if time and money.

    • Brad F(anboy)

@StanLee Good luck, Bell tries to charge you a $75 unlocking fee.

    • DonSod

@Brad F(anboy) – Who said anything about purchasing this phone from Bell? Unlock from ebay for less than $10 if yu must….

  • Miguel

    ^^^ They don’t require data…

    • Brad F(anboy)

Try to get it without data and it costs you $79.

  • Jaga

they DONT require data, you can get it on their $27 dollar plan if you fancy
    kinda useless without data though…

Try to get it without data and it costs you $79.

Too bad you’ll never receive any updates. Bell doesn’t support their phones. Still waiting for 8x updates …. Rogers already sent two for their 8x owners!

  • Miknitro

Basically, it’s a tangible HTC mistake?

  • aryana

Is it a coincidence that this HTC looks exactly like BB10?!?!?!?!?

    • DonSod

Actually ‘the BB10 looks like the 8S’ would be a truer statement…
