Update: Winner announced in our Google Nexus 7 tablet contest!

Update: This contest is now closed. BIG congrats to Justin Woods who takes home the Jelly Bean Nexus 7 Tablet. More contests are on the books for August – smartphones and tablets (Android and BlackBerry).

Google’s Nexus 7 tablet – we’re giving one away!!

Up for grabs is the 16GB version and it runs OS 4.1 Jelly Bean, has a 7-inch display (1280×800), 1.3Ghz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi and a 1.2MP front-facing camera. You can check out our full review of the Nexus 7 here, but go forth and enter the contest below.

As usual, all you have to do is either follow us and re-tweet this contest on Twitter (@mobilesyrup), “Like Us” on Facebook (Facebook.com/MobileSyrup), or join us on Google + or our Forum. All current Facebook, Forum, Twitter and Google + followers are automatically entered. This contest closes July 27th and we’ll announce the winner shortly after.

    Here are some of the things I will do to win this:

    1. Make cupcakes and color dye them Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow, then shape them in the form of the Nexus “X”.

    2. Eat said cupcakes.

    3. Using some kind of non-irritating skin paint, paint 1 arm Red, another Blue, 1 leg Green, and the other Yellow, and lay in the middle of my yard to form the Nexus “X”.

    4. Eat more cupcakes.

    5. Get a flash mob going and have 4 groups, each group holding a piece of Red, Yellow, Green, or Blue paper and then form the Nexus “X” in the middle of someone’s parking lot.

    6. Take everyone back for cupcakes.
