Rovio states that there’s a new bird, 60 “interstellar” levels and even a few hidden bonus levels. Depending on what platform you download Angry Birds Space will be either free (with ads) or cost you up to $4.99 (Mac App Store). Here are the download links:

Another release in the Angry Birds line up.
This should be a great game.
However, the way they price it is interesting and somewhat unfair..

Where’s the value pack for my note now?!?

  • kevin

I guess Playbook owners have to wait again. :-(

    • Kennedyk24

can’t playbooks get android apps now? or do only specific ones get released through that medium?

    • Mike

The wait is punishment for buying a playbook

  • Alex Perrier

    Yay, space!

      nobody likes you.

  • Susan Wong

can’t wait for this to play on my Playbook!

    unfair pricing? What?

It’s been proven time and time again that Apple consumers are more than willing to overpay for everything. They practically beg to be over charged. Not trying to fan the flames but just look at the cost of their laptops in comparison to other products of the same functionality/quality. You get more for less if you go non-apple. You simply pay the extra $300-400 just to have the white apple on computer.

@Slype I look at the cost of Apples laptops. They range around the same price as the HP envy line and the Dell XPS ultrabook. In addition, Apple actually designed the laptops whereas HP and Dell, well, copied the macbook as they look identical.

Even thought I’m playing the free Android version, I would be more than willing to pay for an ad-free version. $4.99 isn’t even that bad considering Rovio is pretty good with updating the various Angry Birds games with new content regularly, so you get your money’s worth.

there is a 99 cent version in Android in the *gag* play store.

why did google go and f**k up a good thing….everyone knew Market, now it just sounds stupid.

  • Joe

When is it coming to Windows Phone?
