     Anything that starts with Mobilicity you just go bashing dont you WIND fanboy.

     If you knew anything about buisness you’d realise that in order to be a company to get any sort of funding, there would need to be some sort of 5 yr outlook. Maybe Mobi is under-cutting WINDS Oh Canadia plan? derpderp, how stupid can you be bro. For up to a year you can get their 55 plan/2 for identical questionable service.

     1 yr of 25.50/month or 1 yr of 29/month with half as much.

   I dont know why people call mobilicity desperate. It is because of companies like them and Wind that other companies have lowered their prices. I am still with fido but when my contract runs out at the end of the month i am headed to mobilicity.

     i find $499.99 to be decent pricing for the Torch, actually. And i’ve previously suggested that Mobilicity reintroduces its $15 plan with unlimited Canada/USA SMS/MMS and Mobilicity-to-Mobilicity calling. That’s a fine plan.

     That’s why i call it desperate. Unlimited talk, text and data for only $20/month the first year. Compared to the Big 3′s “unlimited text but extremely limited everything else” prepaid plans, Mobilicity is neither expanding nor improving its network. Seems like “no frills, no thrills”.

     WIND is adding many more cities at a solid pace. Those driving from Ottawa, for example, would only pay-per-use while traveling from that city to Oshawa, about a 4½-hour drive. Afterwards, in the near future, they can use their WIND plan from Oshawa to Niagara Falls.

     Dave Dobbin recently left, so it’s unclear what will happen to Mobilicity in the future. But during the Dobbin days, it was clear that low cost was the only priority, even if that meant no improvements to coverage, no new cities, and slow Internet speeds. Don’t expect that HTC Panache “4G” to reach anywhere near 14.4 Mbit/s. i’ve heard some people say that 3.6 Mbit/s (think CDMA-EVDO) is the maximum.

     My guess is Mobi is selling it at a slight loss or Wind is selling it at a slight profit.

     My guess is the actual cost is somewhere in the middle of both Mobi and Winds prices.

     Unfortunately the Telus version doesn’t have the 1700 MHz (AWS) frequency that Mobilicity/Wind/Videotron/T-Mobile use.
     So it won’t work.

     Tri-band 3G UMTS network: 2100/1900/850/800MHz
     Quad-band GSM/GPRS networks: 850/900/1800/1900MHz

     Mobilicity/Wind 9810 TBD

   Let’s face it folks Mobilicity is a huge failure and you never get rid of a CEO before Christmas unless the ship is sinking, they are desperate and regardless which high end phones they sell won’t save them. Their network is a disaster and spending over $500 is just not worth it for their extremely slow data. This is why they only have 165,000 customers in 5 cities and that’s miserable.

    Hey so is moblicity planning on expanding thier covrage in ontario? i have been looking at their map for quite some time now and it has stayed the same every time i look at it :S, and wind coverage keeps growing lol sorry i didnt know where else to ask this, i really like that moblicity christmas plan and would galdy switch if they covered Milton
