iOS 5.0.1 has started to roll out to iPhone and iPad users – this OS update will apparently improve the poor battery life that users have been experiencing. The update is compatible with the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad and iPad 2 (Plus the 3rd & 4th gen iPod Touch). Here’s the complete change log:

• Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
• Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
• Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
