Videotron releases the BlackBerry Bold 9900

If you want the best of both worlds – a full QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen – the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is good looking device, seriously. It’s thin, has been bumped up in power and can also shoot 720p HD videos with its 5MP camera. Even though Canada hasn’t reached the level of mobile payment adoption, the 9900 is NFC compatible and ready to go. One of the last Canadian carriers to come on board and release the Bold 9900 is Quebec-based Videotron. Today they have made the 9900 available and have set the price set at a standard $599.95 outright, or the incredibly high “Reduced price” (contract) of $189.95.

    • YES IT IS. LOTS of dead zones and I mean LOTS!!. They are more concerned with creating homezones that totally covering their initial zones of Montreal and Quebec.

      I used to have Telus and it was excellent compared to VT. If their reception does not inprove at the end of my contract I will go back to Telus.

  9. battery and camera sucks on this bb 9900, no autofocus, pictures are better on a bb torch than this. RIM should of put a bigger battery on this device.
