Virgin releases the LG Optimus Chic

Every smartphone has a owner, right? Virgin has released the very entry level LG Optimus Chic – an Android 2.2 Froyo device that is actually respectively priced: $149.99 outright and $0 on a 3-year/Prepaid/SuperTab. The Chic has a 3.2-inch touchscreen device that has a resolution of 320 x 480, 600Mhz processor, 5 megapixel camera that has video capture and Wi-Fi. No indication if the OS will be updated.

  1. This is a good price because those who want a slim phone can buy the HTC Wildfire S. But the Chic should have been at Virgin a long time ago!

  2. I played around with it a bit… It’s nice to have an LG phone that works decently at Virgin. I could even say I liked the performance more than the Gio (Samsung). At the same time, it IS an LG, so I guess time will tell if it is actually a good phone.

    The onlt thing I’m not too fond of on this phone is how big the black frame is all around. Makes me feel like the screen should be bigger or frame be smaller…
