Quick update – TD mobile app for iPhone and iPad has been updated to version 2.4.0, same features as before, but now is iOS 5 compatible. In addition, they also have changed the name of the “Interac Email Money Transfer” to “Interac e-Transfer”, which allows you to send/receive money transfers from your mobile.

What do these mobile banking apps do? Do they spit out twenty dollar bills from your account? i’ve heard that they accept some cheques from the camera, but it seems that there’s not much to do with those apps. And are they secure? And if so, is there one platform that is more secure than the other?

TD has had a BB app for a very long time. It just isn’t available on Mobilicity yet? Why is a banking app carrier specific?

Will this app suck all the juice out of an iPhone battery? Wait… Apple will just sell that as a feature. “Your battery life is poor because Apple wants you to be more economical with your use. It’s Apple. It’s Magic. It just works.”

TD’s mobile App is secure. It is backed by the same EasyWeb policy. Banks are not stupid, they will ensure that anything they release is secure to protect their clients’ information.
The banking apps allow you to do everything you can do online at home or through the machine, without having to take out money. It’s just another way TD is bringing mobile banking to be this comfortable.
