Personally, I thought the love for Angry Birds was over but it’s still plowing forward. The game is basically available on every mobile platform possible and Andrew Stalbow, Rovio’s North American General Manager, was speaking at Web 2.0 and confirmed a new bird is coming in the next update. In addition, he communicated some shocking stats: to-date the company has spent $0 in marketing, total download have reached 400 million (up from 350 million a month ago), 130 million monthly users, 30 million daily active users racking up 300 million minutes of game play every day. Impressive numbers.
