It’s been 2-weeks since Apple founder Steve Jobs passed away. Millions, probably hundreds of millions, of people around the world showed appreciation for his life by writing messages on Post-It notes, leaving flowers, developing logos, creating websites etc. Apple themselves asked people to send in messages to “share your thoughts, memories, and condolences” and many did. The tribute site is now live, it’s called “Remembering Steve” and it’s an extension of the Apple site.
Every 12 seconds a new message appears and it seems like it’s a continuous scroll. They noted that “Over a million people from all over the world have shared their memories, thoughts, and feelings about Steve. One thing they all have in common — from personal friends to colleagues to owners of Apple products — is how they’ve been touched by his passion and creativity.”

He was one very smart individual and new how to take other people’s tech improve it and market it to the masses. Both Microsoft and Apple stole the basis for their first GUI from Xerox. I have nothing but respect for what he accomplished but that doesn’t change where he got the ideas from….

Jesus H Christ on a popsicle stick. The founders of some of the most important vaccines didn’t receive 1/1000th of this kind of praise. He was the CEO of a company with brilliant engineers and designers who made fecking toys. It’s so sad that people hold this evil a$$hole in such high regard (the biggest of dicks who in 1997 demanded that all charitable contributions be put on hold upon them being profitable again). Two words: f**k him.
