Bell: “The Early Hardware Upgrade eligibility will be temporarily removed from all clients’ profiles”

According to this internal doc we received it states that Bell has made some changes to their Early Hardware Upgrade program (HUG). Customers in the past could upgrade to the latest device by paying $15/month x the number of months they had left on their, but “The Early Hardware Upgrade eligibility will be temporarily removed for all client’s profiles”… the only option to upgrade now is a 30-day phone purchase price. You can always wait out the length of your contract, but Bell says there are some exceptions, “if a client has mentioned they were offered an Early Hardware Upgrade prior to August 25th, 2011, and the clients next upgrade date is prior to June 1, 2012.” (This is valid until September 2nd).

We’ll have more info soon…
