The Wi-Fi Motorola XOOM launched back in April with OS 3.0 and Moto was quick to announce an upgrade to OS 3.1 was on its way. They stated on Facebook that “We know you are eager to update to Android 3.1 software. We are working with Google to make this happen as quickly as possible. When we have more details, we will post them. Our best estimate is that it will be available in the next couple of months”.
Canadians are patient, but sometimes the patience just might turn into frustration. This is the case with many Motorola XOOM owners as they’re still waiting, wanting and watching other countries get OS 3.2 already. Today, Motorola has once again posted a message for all Canadian XOOM owners that basically says they’re still working on pushing the update through:
“We want you to know that we read your comments every day and understand your concerns about the XOOM update. We’ll let you know as soon as we have something to share. Thanks for your passion about our devices, excitement for new products and, most of all, your patience.”
