Rogers employees start training for the BlackBerry Bold 9900, launch imminent

You know what’s missing from today? BlackBerry news. Seems like the avalanche of yesterday somewhat faded today, but we have a small update for you. Rogers announced that they will be releasing the new flavours of BlackBerry devices: the Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860. These are all expected to drop sometime “this Summer” and have all their own respected various rumoured release dates. A good sign of an impending release is getting employees trained on the devices… and that’s exactly what’s happening with the Bold 9900 for Rogers staff. This is by far the flagship device out of all the new models as it’s thin, light, powered by OS 7, plus comes with a touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard.

More details soon!
(Thanks tipster!)

  4. I really hope that the Sales staff actually take the time to do the training, AND that the training material is based on product knowledge and not sales strategies.

The 9900 looks to be shaping up as the best portrait qwertyphone globally, and am excited to see it come to market

  5. I wonder if the training involves rebooting the phone after every app install and frequent battery pulls just to keep the phone working.
