Bell HTC Incredible S upgrade to OS 2.3.3 now available

Bell promised a Summer upgrade for the HTC Incredible S and have delivered. Owners are reporting that they’re now getting OS 2.3.3 Gingerbread pushed to their device and are downloading OTA (over-the-air). If you have yet to be notified check Settings > About Phone > System Updates!

    Why wait for carrier updates?

  7. FYI, according to the htc website, Sasktel is pushing out the update as well, but with version # 2.33.669.2.

  8. This whole idea of carrier controlling FW releases is mind-boggling.. why doesn’t the stupid handset manufacturers release firmwares?

  10. What happened to the “early summer” update to 2.3 for the Vibrant? The last time I checked “early summer” comes before “mid summer.”

  14. Downloaded and installed it. Doesn’t look any different except for a few things, like the notification bar and the app drawer. I wish it came with Sense 3.0. Does anyone know if the update included an unlocked bootloader?
