Facebook will “launch something awesome” next week

Unconfirmed reports have Facebook with over 750 million users, which is a completely astonishing number in itself. According to Reuters the powerhouse social network will “launch something awesome” next week. No details were officially revealed, but a couple possible hints at what this upcoming awesomeness could be is an official Facebook for iPad app (finally), or an extension to their iPhone app that makes it easier for users to share photos. Apparently Mark Zuckerberg told reporters that this project was developed out of their Seattle office, which is known for building Facebook’s mobile site.

Do either of those get you excited… are those “awesome”?

  13. It is going to be Skype integration with Facebook chat. Microsoft has just recently bought Skype and also has a little stake in Facebook so I have a feeling this is what might happen.

  14. Facebook were suppose to launch a ‘GMail killer’ 3 months ago. I think Facebook is playing with the media to un-focus the attention on Google+ . They won’t launch anything.
