Wind Mobile Nokia C5-04 now available

After being on their website as “coming soon” for a few days WIND Mobile has officially released the Nokia C5-04 today. This can be yours for the no contract price of $150 and comes with a 3.2-inch display, runs Symbian OS S60 5th Edition and has a 5 megapixel camera with video capabilities, HD Voice, 3.5 mm headset jack with access to the Nokia’s Ovi Store and comes pre-loaded with Ovi Maps. We’ll have a full review up soon.

  4. If this is basically a C5-03 (which retails for over $200) will it only support AWS bands? Or could I get one, unlock it, and take it to another carrier?

  6. It’s not a garbage phone, it’s just a cheaper phone for those who don’t want to spend a lot on a phone.
    That being said, I wouldn’t buy it myself. I prefer something a little higher end.

  7. I got the phone. Not a bad phone. Not sure about the other bands. But the camera is only 2 megapixels, no flash. But not bad quality.

    Wind’s service on the other hand……is in a word crap. Lots of blind spots. Once it goes off network takes forever to find the network again etc etc.

      does this phone has Wi-Fi or not, from my search it’s inconclusive, some web site report it has, some report it has NOT. Also very poor specs @ Nokia website. Thx.

  9. Hi, please help. I got this phone from wind. it says it has wifi. i couldn’t find it. i got a tutorial. in the tutorial it says
    go to
    Menu-> Settings -> Connectivity -> Wifi
    i dont have the Wifi menu. is it because of wind?
    PLEASE HELP

    I found that it is the opportunity to thank you for the new design, Nokia C5-04. I am from Middle East, I have got a new cellphone, gift from my brother, Nokia C5-04. I knew lately, that this type of Nokia , restricted and used only in Canada. I appreciate if you do a favor to me, in helping noncoding, in order to use it, since it is valuable to me.
