Don’t quite count RIM out of the app race just yet. Sure they’re not as big as Apple’s App Store or Google’s Android Market but they are going for quality of apps rather than quantity. The last BlackBerry App World stat that RIM announced was back on February 14th with 20,000 available apps mark and over 2 million apps are being downloaded per day. It’s been a month and what has RIM done? Alex Kinsella, Product Manager for BlackBerry App World, tweeted they are now seeing “3 Million downloads a day from BlackBerry App World”. Impressive increase in 4 weeks time!
