On November 5th Skyfire went live with their “Skyfire for iPhone” app. This gave way not just use another browser on your iPhone but more importantly enabled the ability to watch Flash videos. The app was downloaded by thousands of people and was unfortunately pulled after 5 hours on iTunes. The reason according to Skyfire was because their “servers and bandwidth caused the video experience to degrade”.
Good news for Canadians tonight as the app has been made available again. Skyfire stated on Twitter that “O, Canada – Skyfire 2.0 for iPhone is now available in Canada via the iTunes Store!”
