Remember environmentally friendly phones? These always come out around Earth Day but they have been a bit silent of late – no worries though. TELUS has just released the Samsung Evergreen (not on their site yet). This device is made from 70% recycled plastic and is packaged in 80% recycled material. As for what you can expect for specs: it’s an HSPA device that has a 2.4-inch QVGA screen (resolution of 240 x 320), slide-out QWERTY keyboard, MP3 player, holds up to 16GB with a microSD, 2.0 megapixel camera with video capabilities and only weighs 117 grams.
Price point are priced right. The no-contract falls in at $149.99; 1-year at $99.99; 2-year at $49.99 and the 2-year is available for $29.99.

It’s not from Koodo, you may be getting it mixed up with the Samsung Intensity, Victor. But your right, they do look the same.

I have one of these (had it for a few months now) and it’s a great little phone if all you do is texting and talking. The camera isn’t so great on it and the internet app is horrible. I only use mine to text so it works great for me. Also this phone is very tough! It has been submerged in water and dropped a million times already!
