RIM teases us again with images of the BlackBerry 6 multimedia experience

RIM has continued the teasing process by posting pics of their new OS called BlackBerry 6. We’ve seen a couple official videos in the past and a fair share of leaked videos that give a good outline. The images below has BlackBerry 6 hooked on Rogers network and shows the multimedia experience of what RIM says will be “an intuitive multimedia experience right out of the box”. Features they’ve highlighted are the music playback, Podcast App, camera functions such as several ways to organize your photos, Face Detection, pinch to zoom features, streaming, sharing and searching for videos (via YouTube).

  1. When will this be available?? Will it be available for all platforms? I have an 8900 – assuming it will be made available for it??

  2. 8900 won’t get it for sure. Hell, the 9000 won’t even be getting it according to rumours. Only newer Blackberries with 512mb flash will be getting the update from what we know right now.

  5. what about the 9100!? I have an 8130 and like the size and sure type, but would not want to be left with OS 5 when EVERY one else gets to have OS6 and I’m left waiting for my contact to run out.
