The “New Bell Network” starts advertising “The world’s best phones”

It’s no secret that Bell will be launching their new HSPA network very soon. We’ve written about their upcoming lineup of devices a number of times.

It looks like they’ve started to do some advertising in Calgary.  HoFo member Dino Martini captured this pic from a bus ad with the tag line “The world’s best phones on the The New Bell Network”. The devices shown are the LG XENON, BlackBerry Bold 9700, Samsung Omnia II and the Nokia 2730. I can also see the Samsung Impact and way tucked in the back, almost hidden in the middle is the much anticipated Apple iPhone.

You would think that Bell is interested in highlighting and promoting the world’s most sought after device.

    1. Likely the rest paid for their position in the ad. Apple doesn’t need the extra advertising.

    3. I’m interested in getting some confirmation of the Nokia N97 – if & when it’s coming and whether it will be available with a voice plan only or if they’ll force us to get a combo plan.
