Telus has released the LG Versa… this is a device that almost looks identical to the LG Dare.
The Versa has a 3-inch screen touchscreen with 3customizable home screens and has LG’s 3D S-Class user interface. In addition, it comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video capabilities, can hold up to 16GB with a microSD card, stereo Bluetooth, MP3 player, renders full HTML browser and you can browse up to 3 web pages at one time. Overall dimensions of the Versa are 105.9 x 52.5 x 13.7 mm and has a weight of 108 grams.
I believe you can also get a detachable QWERTY keyboard (could not find it listed). The Versa can be yours on the following price plans:
3-year contract: $79.99
2-year contract: $179.99
1-year contract: $229.99
No Contract $279.99

So I was researching to see whether or not the Verizon Qwerty Keyboard attachment works with the Telus LG Versa and I could not find information regarding this. I’m use to Telus dumbing down their phones over the years I thought they may have somehow removed the possibility of it being compatible. Seeing that Telus only offered this Qwerty Detachable Keyboard online for $46 before tax I took myself to Ebay and purchased one from “Electronics_Online” (Verizon version) for $30. Beware that there are two kinds of finishes for the faux leather case. One is really smooth and the other more rough and grainy. Oh by the way…IT WORKS PEOPLE!!! Don’t pay phone companies any more money than you have to.
