With the big news this morning of TELUS launching their new HSPA network and the Apple iPhone on November 5th, they were a bit vague on the other device releases bu only saying “TELUS will offer a number of exciting new devices from HTC, Huawei, LG, Nokia, RIM, Samsung, and Sierra Wireless in time for the holidays, including some on an exclusive basis.”
However, some digging around and clicking on the info page leads to the “TELUS 3G+ device” with some confirmed devices… including the Apple iPhone, HTC Hero (in Black and White), BlackBerry Bold 9700, Nokia E71 (in Black and Red), LG New Chocolate and the Sierra 306 Internet key.
The HTC Hero, Nokia E71 in Black and Red, and the LG BL40 New Chocolate are all TELUS exclusive devices.

Storm2 absent …. Rogers bound perhaps. A Telus rep told me they are getting it but perhaps this confirms it’s not a HSPA device

No way, seriously the HERO coming in 3g, now if it’s not a branded POS with the Telus logo at the top, it’s a must buy.

@Joshua Flynn – Storm2 is not a HSPA device – it’s still a CDMA world phone. Launching on Verizon at the end of the month(Oct 28th) and probably will be to Telus shortly afterwards.

I’ve been aiming towards the BL40 ever since I heard the rumours of it going for TELUS, but DAMN!
$50/month is just WAY too much!
Brutal!

For Cody S
No way, you cannot do this at least you have an unlocked phone
In the same way that could be hard to do even with unlocked phone, as per TELUS representative all phone is note 100% 3G, HSPA or other, it look like a hybrid phone wish work both new HSPA and old TELUS network.
