Facebook for iPhone 3.1 coming soon… has push notifications built in

Facebook is used by over 65 million worldwide and those who have an iPhone we have some good news coming your way!

Joe Hewitt is an engineer at Facebook and the developer of the Facebook iPhone app has put on his Twitter page that “Facebook iPhone update: 3.03 with bug fixes coming soon, and 3.1 with push notifications to follow”. No word on what specific bugs they are fixing but it’ll lead towards 3.1 where your iPhone will beep every time you get a new message, friend request, pokes etc
