Unreleased Fido LG GB250 shows up on Best Buy site

fido-lg-gb-250Best Buy has listed a device that has yet to be announced or even for sale at Fido. To the best of my knowledge the LG GB250 is yet to be available in Canada but can be yours for only $34.99 on a 2-year contract, or $174.99 outright.

The LG GB250 is a flip phone that has a 1.3 megapixel camera with video capabilities, FM radio, an MP3 player and has overall dimensions of 4.9(w) x 9.8(h) x 1.7(d) cm and weighs only 84 grams.

However on the site it does state that “Please Note:This unit is not available for sale online”, so it’s best to call your local store to see if they have it in stock.

  1. Another piece of cr*p phone in Fido’s lineup. When a 5 year old Blackberry is the highest-end smartphone you offer, you’re clearly encouraging big spenders to go elsewhere

  2. All phones available now should be Nokia N900 (Maemo), Palm Pre, iPhones, Blackberry, and the like… Anything else is outdated and useless as anything but an old rotary phone replacement!
