Bell Palm Pre Touchstone to retail for $79.99?

pPALM1-5981620v300x300With Bell launching the incredibly anticipated Palm Pre on August 27th, there has been very little mentioned about the much talked about “Touchstone”. This is an accessory that is basically a charging dock that allows you to wireless recharge your Pre (via induction technology).

In the Metro News today, Maxime Johnson has written her views of the Pre and how it compares to the iPhone, but more importantly has given a bit of insight in to the cost of the Touchstone. She states that Bell will be retailing this for $79.99 and says “To recharge, Bell also sell optional the Touchstone ($79.99), a kind of large magnet to recharge your wireless phone, by induction.”
