Fido “refreshed” iPhone 3G 8GB now only $49

fido-iphone3g-referbishedFido has further dropped the price of their “refreshed” lineup of the iPhone 3G. It wasn’t that long ago that we were impressed with the $149 refreshed iPhone 3G….you can now get yourself an Apple iPhone 3G 8GB for the low price of $49 (16GB for $99). You’ll need to sign up for a 3-year agreement and a data plan but the more important question is what does “refreshed” mean?

Fido says that “refreshed” devices are available for a limited time and “are phones that were returned by customers within 15 days from the date of activation… are either unused or lightly used…and will have final scratches”. In addition, the phones do not come with ear phones or other accessories, have a warranty of 6 months from the date of shipment.
