Canada has 2nd fasted iPhone 3G connection in the world

Wired.com has released a study to find out how fast the iPhone 3G connection really is. Overall 2,636 iPhone 3G owners from around the world participated and Canada wound up with Silver! Rogers & Fido clocked in at the “average download speeds of roughly 990 Kbps”. There were 152 Canadian participants in the study. Who came in first?  European T-Mobile users had the quickest 3G average download speeds with 1,822 Kbps

    2. Wow, with this speed combined with the actual decent data plan of $30 for 6GB a month, we don’t look so ridiculous compared to the rest of the world anymore!

    3. I actually went over to the dark side, RogERs, just to get the 6GB data plan, especially since it allows tethering.
