The Nexus 6P will make its Canadian carrier debut tomorrow, November 4

After a huge push at launch to get Nexus 6P pre-orders sent out in Canada, the device still hasn’t actually made it to Canadian carriers. Up to two weeks of Canadian shipment delays have resulted in Google and Huawei’s larger Nexus device becoming a hot commodity on grey market websites like Kijiji and Craigslist.

Assuming nothing goes awry in the next day, carriers are finally set to begin selling the Nexus 6P and fulfilling pre-orders tomorrow. All major Canadian wireless providers – including Rogers, Bell, Telus, and Wind Mobile – will carry the Nexus 6P, and if you haven’t reserved one for yourself already, you may be better off trying to pick one up directly from Google (although 6P stock on the Google Store is scarce as well).

The Nexus 6P is a positively received first effort from Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei, and has received praise from critics for its vibrant 5.7-inch screen, excellent build quality and Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

If you’re planning on trying to get your hands on a Nexus 6P tomorrow, or if you’ve pre-ordered the smartphone from a carrier, let us know how the process went. Rogers is the only carrier to confirm pricing at $199.99 on a 2-year contract or $699.99 outright.

Hopefully, this two-week delay will mean supply can keep up with demand. We hope to have our Nexus 6P review up at some point in the next few days.
